There’s something truly magical about working with wood—every grain, every knot, every scent tells a story. My absolute favorite hobby – apart from golf and swimming? Making model wooden reindeers, each one unique and lovingly made by hand. Whether it’s oak, walnut, or a quirky offcut of cherry, I use all sorts of wood to bring these cheerful little creatures to life. The best part? Giving them away to friends and seeing their faces light up with surprise and delight. For me, it’s more than just a pastime—it’s a way to spread a bit of homemade happiness, one reindeer at a time.
